## What is Hexagon HxGN EAM?

Hexagon HxGN EAM (formally Infor EAM) is a SaaS-based, enterprise asset management solution that provides full visibility into asset performance to enable longer asset lifecycles, and improved performance, quality, and profitability.

## Why Should You Use the HxGN EAM Connector?

The HxGN EAM connector provides visibility into the assets in your environment. You can use this visibility to:

- ensure assets are managed per your security policies
- derive relationships between assets, users, and data

## How Does This Connector Work?

Lucidum executes read-only requests to the HxGN EAM REST API and ingests only meta-data about HxGN EAM devices. Lucidum does not retrieve any data stored on your assets.
