# Introduction

## What are MetaBlocks?

Lucidum includes a feature called MetaBlocks. MetaBlocks allow you to group Dashboards, Connectors, Actions, SmartLabels, and Saved Queries, similar to how you would use a folder. You can store related items in a single MetaBlock.

You can export and import MetaBlocks.

For example:

- You could store a Dashboard, the Saved Queries, use in the Dashboard, and the SmartLabels used in the dashboard in a single MetaBlock.
- You could then export that MetaBlock.
- If you import the MetaBlock into another Lucidum system, that other Lucidum system can seamlessly use the Dashboard because all the dependencies were included in the MetaBlock.

MetaBlocks can help you:

- manage related Dashboards, Connectors, Actions, SmartLabels, and Saved Queries in a single MetaBlock
- manage complex, nested SmartLabels by grouping them together
- share content between Lucidum systems
