# Migrating Custom Fields to Tags

Tags replace the older feature Custom Fields. Lucidum automatically migrates Custom Fields to Tags.

After upgrading to later versions of Lucidum, you will notice that:

- The Settings > **Custom Field Management** page is gone.
- All existing Custom Fields are automatically migrated to the new **Tag Management** page (Left menu > Tags icon).
- The new Tag will have the same name as the previous Custom Field.
- The Query Builder no longer includes the category **Customer Fields**.
- The Query Builder now includes a category **Tags**. This is where you can find your migrated Custom Fields and use them in queries.
