## What is New Relic?

New Relic provides cloud-based software to monitor application performance, track user interactions, and monitor the performance of servers, instances, and services.

## Why Should You Use the New Relic Connector?

The New Relic connector provides visibility into the applications, assets, and users in your environment. You can use this visibility to:

- ensure applications are managed per your security policies
- find vulnerabilities quickly and remediate

## How Does This Connector Work?

Lucidum executes read-only requests to the New Relic API and ingests only meta-data about New Relic devices. Lucidum does not retrieve any data stored on your assets.
