## What is Riverbed SteelCentral Controller?

Riverbed SteelCentral Controller (SCC) enables you to manage, configure, and monitor Riverbed products. The SCC also acts as an enterprise management and reporting tool for Riverbed products, enabling greater control for global network deployments.

## Why Should You Use the Riverbed SteelCentral Controller Connector?

The SteelCentral Controller connector provides visibility into the network hardware in your environment. You can use this visibility to:

- ensure assets are managed per your security policies
- find vulnerabilities quickly and remediate

## How Does This Connector Work?

Lucidum executes read-only requests to the SteelCentral Controller API and ingests only meta-data about SteelCentral Controller assets. Lucidum does not retrieve any data stored on your assets.
