This chapter describes how to edit and manage the charts in your dashboards.
Editing a Chart #
Lucidum allows you to edit an existing chart, copy a chart from one dashboard to another, and delete an existing chart from a dashboard.
To edit a chart in a dashboard:

Log in to your Lucidum system.

In the left menu, click Dashboards.

In the Channel pane, click the channel where the dashboard lives.

In the right pane, find the dashboard you want to edit. Click the dashboard name.

Lucidum loads the dashboard.

In the dashboard, click the Edit This Dashboard (pencil) icon.

Note that now each chart includes a set of icons to the left of the chart name.

Find the chart you want to edit. Click its Settings (pencil) icon. The Edit Chart page appears.

In the Edit Chart page, you can edit any of the fields for the chart, including the query.

To save you changes, click the Preview (eye) icon and then click the Save Chart (disc) icon. to save your changes.
Copying a Chart #
To copy a chart to another dashboard:

Log in to your Lucidum system.

In the left menu, click Dashboards.

In the Channel pane, click the channel where the dashboard lives.

In the right pane, find the dashboard you want to edit. Click the dashboard name.

Lucidum loads the dashboard.

In the dashboard, click the Edit This Dashboard (pencil) icon.

Note that now each chart includes a set of icons to the left of the chart name.

Find the chart you want to copy. Click its Clone (pages) icon. The Clone Chart page appears.

In the Clone Chart page, specify the dashboard where you want the copied chart to appear. You can clone a chart only to dashboards in the channels in My Channels. For details on My Channels, see the section on My Channels.

A copy of the chart now appears in the specified dashboard, with “_copy” appended to the chart name.
Bulk Clone Charts #
To copy multiple charts to the current dashboard or another dashboard:
- Log in to your Lucidum system.
- In the left menu, click Dashboards.

In the Channel pane, click the channel where the dashboard lives.

In the right pane, find the dashboard you want to edit. Click the dashboard name.

Lucidum loads the dashboard.

Ensure that you are not in edit mode in the dashboard. If you are in edit mode, the charts display icons below the chart name. Click the Save this Dashboard (disc) icon to save your changes and exit edit more.

In the dashboard, click the 3 dots in the upper right and choose Bulk Clone Charts.

Note that now each chart displays a checkbox in the upper right corner.

Clicking the Select All checkbox clones all charts.

You can also select the checkboxes on individual charts to clone those charts.

Click the Clone (pages) icon in upper right to clone the chart. The Clone Chart page appears.

In the Clone Chart page, specify the dashboard where you want the cloned charts to appear.

The cloned charts now appear in the specified dashboard, with “_copy” appended to each chart’s name.
Deleting a Chart #
To delete a chart:

Log in to your Lucidum system.

In the left menu, click Dashboards.
-
In the Channel pane, click the channel where the dashboard lives.

In the right pane, find the dashboard you want to edit. Click the dashboard name.

Lucidum loads the dashboard.

In the dashboard, click the Edit This Dashboard (pencil) icon.

Note that now each chart includes a set of icon to the left of the chart name.

Find the chart you want to delete. Click its Delete (trash can ) icon.
-
You will be prompted to ensure you want to delete the chart.
-
Click Delete to delete the chart from the dashboard.
Bulk Delete Charts #
To delete multiple charts from the current dashboard:

Log in to your Lucidum system.

In the left menu, click Dashboards.
-
In the Channel pane, click the channel where the dashboard lives.
-
In the right pane, find the dashboard you want to edit. Click the dashboard name.

Lucidum loads the dashboard.

Ensure that you are not in edit mode in the dashboard. If you are in edit mode, the charts display icons below the chart name. Click the Save this Dashboard (disc) icon to save your changes and exit edit more.

In the dashboard, click the 3 dots in the upper right and choose Bulk Delete Charts.

Note that now each chart displays a checkbox in the upper right corner.

Clicking the Select All checkbox selects all charts for deletion.

You can also select the checkboxes on individual charts to delete only those charts.

Click the Delete (trash can ) icon in upper right to clone the chart. The Delete Charts page appears.

Click Delete to delete the selected charts.
