What is PRTG Network Monitor? #
PRTG Network Monitor is a network monitoring application for Windows-based systems. PRTG Network Monitor is suitable for networks of all sizes and capable of monitoring LANs, WANs, WLANs, and VPNs. PRTG Network Monitor also monitors physical or virtual web, mail, and file servers, Linux systems, Windows clients, and routers.
Why Should You Use the PRTG Network Monitor Connector? #
The PRTG Network Monitor connector provides visibility into the assets in your environment. You can use this visibility to:
-
ensure assets are managed per your security policies
-
derive relationships between assets, users, applications, and data
How Does This Connector Work? #
Lucidum executes read-only requests to the PRTG PRTG Network Monitor REST API and ingests only meta-data about PRTG Network Monitor devices. Lucidum does not retrieve any data stored on your assets.
