PacketFence is a free, open source network access control (NAC) solution that includes a captive-portal for registration and remediation, centralized wired, wireless, and VPN management, industry-leading BYOD capabilities, 802.1X and RBAC support, and integrated network anomaly detection with layer-2 isolation of problematic devices.
Configuring the Connector for PacketFence #
To configure Lucidum to ingest data from PacketFence:

Log in to Lucidum.

In the left pane, click Connector.

In the Connector page, click Add Connector.

Scroll until you find the Connector you want to configure. Click Connect. The Settings page appears.

In the Settings page, enter the following:

URLÂ (required): The URL of the PacketFence API

User Name and Password (required) – The user name and password for an account that has read access to the API.

Verify SSL. For future use.

To test the configuration, click Test.

If the connector is configured correctly, Lucidum displays a list of services that are accessible with the connector.

If the connector is not configured correctly, Lucidum displays an error message.
