McAfee MVision Cloud

McAfee MVision Cloud is a Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) solution that protects data and stops threats in the cloud across SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS, and on-premises environments from a single, cloud-native enforcement point. MVision helps you build and apply policies, manage incidents, manage responses, and provides a registry of cloud services based on a 261-point risk assessment, provides analytics.

Configuring the Connector for MVision Cloud #

To configure Lucidum to ingest data from MVision Cloud:

1. Log in to Lucidum.

2. In the left pane, click Connector.

3. In the Connector page, click Add Connector.

4. Scroll until you find the Connector you want to configure. Click Connect. The Settings page appears.

5. In the Settings page, enter the following:

   • URL (required): The URL of the McAfee MVision Cloud API, for example, https://api.mvision.mcafee.com.

   • Client ID and Client Secret (required): McAfee MVision Cloud API client ID and secret.

   • API Key (required): McAfee MVision Cloud API key. The API key must have epo.device.r permission to fetch assets

   • Verify SSL. For future use.

6. To test the configuration, click Test.

   • If the connector is configured correctly, Lucidum displays a list of services that are accessible with the connector.

   • If the connector is not configured correctly, Lucidum displays an error message.
