What is ngrok? #
ngrok is a globally distributed reverse proxy that secures, protects and accelerates your applications and network services, no matter where you run them. ngrok supports delivering HTTP, TLS or TCP-based applications.
Why Should You Use the ngrok Connector? #
The ngrok connector provides visibility into the assets and users in your environment. You can use this visibility to:
-
ensure assets and users are managed per your security policies
-
derive relationships between assets, users, applications, and data
How Does This Connector Work? #
Lucidum executes read-only requests to the ngrok REST API and ingests only meta-data about ngrok devices. Lucidum does not retrieve any data stored on your assets.
