What is Automox? #
Automox is a cloud-based patch management platform that automates the scanning, updating, and inventorying of devices. Automox works across Windows, macOS, Linux, and third-party software, including Adobe, Java, Firefox, Chrome, and Windows.
Configuring the Connector for Automox #
To configure Lucidum to ingest data from Automox:

Log in to Lucidum.

In the left pane, click Connector.

In the Connector page, click Add Connector.

Scroll until you find the Connector you want to configure. Click Connect. The Settings page appears.

In the Settings page, enter the following:

Host (required). The hostname or IP address of the Automox server.

API Key (required)/ An API Key associated with a user account that has read access to devices. From the Automox console Settings page, select the API tab to access your API keys. Then generate and copy an API key. The Lucidum connector uses this account and API Key.

To test the configuration, click Test.

If the connector is configured correctly, Lucidum displays a list of services that are accessible with the connector.

If the connector is not configured correctly, Lucidum displays an error message.

Creating an API Key for Automox #
Before configuring the Automox connector in Lucidum, you must first create an API Key. Lucidum will use the API key to access the Automox API.

From the Automox console Settings page, select the KEYS tab to access your API keys.

Then create an API key (leave the expiration date as default): make sure the API key won’t expire.
