What is Jamf Security Cloud (formerly Jamf Radar)? #
The Jamf Security Cloud is a web application for configuring and managing applications, settings, and integrations for Jamf Protect (provides web threat prevention) and Jamf Connect (provides ZTNA capabilities). Jamf Security Cloud provides management tools, centralized dashboards, reports, and policies for Jamf Protect and Jamf Connect and their devices
Why Should You Use the Jamf Security Cloud Connector? #
The Jamf Security Cloud connector provides visibility into the assets in your environment. You can use this visibility to:
- harness an additional data source for device risk
-
ensure assets are managed per your security policies
-
derive relationships between assets, users, applications, and data
How Does This Connector Work? #
Lucidum executes read-only requests to the Jamf Security Cloud REST API and ingests only meta-data about Jamf Security Cloud devices. Lucidum does not retrieve any data stored on your assets.
