BMC Helix CMDB (previously BMC Atrium CMDB) is a configuration management database (CMDB) that consolidates disparate sources of data into a single view of infrastructure components (hardware, software, and cloud services), their physical and logical relationships, and their relationships to business services.
Configuring the Connector for BMC Helix CMDB #
To configure Lucidum to ingest data from BMC Helix CMDB:

Log in to Lucidum.

In the left pane, click Connector.

In the Connector page, click Add Connector.

Scroll until you find the Connector you want to configure. Click Connect. The Settings page appears.

In the Settings page, enter the following:

URLÂ (required). The URL of the API for BMC Atrium CMDB.

Source (required). The API source for BMC Atrium CMDB API source.

If you are using the AR system (Remedy Actin Request system) APIs, enter arsys.

If you are using the BMC BMC Atrium Configuration Management Database APIS, enter cmdb.

Username (required). User name for an an account on BMC Atrium CMDB that has read-only access to the API data.

Password (required). User name for an an account on BMC Atrium CMDB that has read-only access to the API data.

To test the configuration, click Test.

If the connector is configured correctly, Lucidum displays a list of services that are accessible with the connector.

If the connector is not configured correctly, Lucidum displays an error message.
