Device42 is an IT infrastructure management software suite that includes agentless auto-discovery, application dependency mapping, a configuration management database (CMDB), data center infrastructure management (DCIM), IT asset & inventory management (ITAM) functionality, IP address management (IPAM), and password management.
Configuring the Connector for Device42 #
To configure Lucidum to ingest data from Device42:

Log in to Lucidum.

In the left pane, click Connector.

In the Connector page, click Add Connector.

Scroll until you find the Connector you want to configure. Click Connect. The Settings page appears.

In the Settings page, enter the following:

URLÂ (required). The URL of the API for Device42. For example, https://console.us.code42.com

User Name (required). The user name for an account on Device42 with read access to API data. For details, see https://docs.device42.com/administration/role-based-access-control/role-based-permissions-and-access/. The Lucidum connector uses this account. If you want the account to have access via the API but not the UI, deselect ‘Staff Status’ for that account from UI Tools > Admins & Permissions > Administrators..

Password (required). The password for an account on Device42 with read access to API data. The Lucidum connector uses this account.

To test the configuration, click Test.

If the connector is configured correctly, Lucidum displays a list of services that are accessible with the connector.

If the connector is not configured correctly, Lucidum displays an error message.
