What is Silverfort? #
Silverfort enforces secure authentication and access policies across corporate networks, industrial networks and cloud environments, including sensitive IT and OT systems that were considered ‘unprotectable’ until today, enabled by an innovative agentless and proxyless architecture.
Why Should You Use the Silverfort Connector? #
The Silverfort connector provides visibility into the assets in your environment. You can use this visibility to:
- ensure assets are managed per your security policies
- derive relationships between assets, users, applications, and data
How Does This Connector Work? #
Lucidum executes read-only requests to the Silverfort REST API and ingests only meta-data about Silverfort devices. Lucidum does not retrieve any data stored on your assets.

Creating Credentials #
To create the APP User ID and App User Secret, see the Silverfort API documentation, section on Authentication > Generate a JWT Token.
- Go to the Admin Console and select Settings > Silverfort API.
- Click Create Key.
- Assign the API a name.
- Select the following:
- Category. Service Accounts.
- Permissions. Read
- Copy and save the App User ID and App User Secret in a secure location.
To generate an external API Key, see the Silverfort API documentation, section on Authentication > Authentication for API Requests from External Networks / Resources.
Required Permissions #
The Silverfort token must have read access to Service Accounts.
