Using MetaBlocks with SmartLabels

What are MetaBlocks #

Lucidum includes a feature called MetaBlocks. MetaBlocks allow you to group Dashboards, Connectors, Dashboards, SmartLabels, and Saved Queries, similar to how you would use a folder. You can store related items in a single MetaBlock.

Adding SmartLabels to MetaBlocks #

After creating a SmartLabel, you can align the SmartLabel with a MetaBlock.

To do this:

1. Navigate to the SmartLabel Management page (Left menu > SmartLabels icon).
2. Select a tab, either My SmartLabels or All SmartLabels.
3. Find the SmartLabel you want to add to a MetaBlock. Click its MetaBlock icon.

   

4. The Assign MetaBlocks modal page appears.
5. In the Assign MetaBlock modal page, select one or more MetaBlocks to align with the SmartLabel.

   

6. Click Assign.

Viewing MetaBlocks Aligned with a SmartLabel #

To view the MetaBlocks associated with a SmartLabel:

1. Navigate to the SmartLabel Management page (Left menu > SmartLabels icon).
2. Select a tab, either My SmartLabels or All SmartLabels.
3. In the SmartLabels page, the MetaBlocks column displays the list of MetaBlocks aligned with each SmartLabel:

   

Deleting a SmartLabel from a MetaBlock #

To delete a SmartLabel from a MetaBlock:

NOTE: This will not delete the SmartLabel or the MetaBlock. This action removes the relationship between the SmartLabel and the MetaBlock.

1. Navigate to the SmartLabel Management page (Left menu > SmartLabels icon).
2. Select a tab, either My SmartLabels or All SmartLabels.
3. Find the SmartLabel you want to delete from a MetaBlock. Click its MetaBlock icon.

   

4. The Assign MetaBlocks modal page appears.
5. In the Assign MetaBlocks modal page, the MetaBlocks field displays the MetaBlocks aligned with the SmartLabel. To delete a MetaBlock, click its Delete (trashcan) icon.

   

6. Click Assign.
